Change of pace and attitude

It has occurred to me that a change of theme is to be added. No one wants to hear about my work as my passions. Ya'll wanna hear about my mis-adventures and sex-capades....and my struggles with relationships and men....along with my "brothers" women troubles.

My first thought is about putting ourselves out there and what measures are taken to prevent feelings, or "the next level".

Dating.... The word itself has many meanings and translations that requires a different meaning to every one of us. Yet we are all afraid to say something about our own limits, or boundaries.

I can't help but think of my wolfpack... or my friends when it comes to dating...or even just sex. We try to reciprocate whatever behavior is given. Sometimes it is difficult to reciprocate the type of behavior you don't really want.

How do we explain ourselves and still keep a strong stand? Keeping our heads held high and still maintain an independent stronghold?

Power comes to mind and along with that a struggle. Like this evening, for example, I happen to meet up with my "boy toy" (don't even know if that is exactly what I should be calling him) and happen to end in a power struggle of who's dick is bigger.... kind of deal. I left with him telling me that I was acting disinterested....SERIOUSLY? You call groping you, while talking to your friends and laughing at their lame-ass jokes....DISINTERESTED?!?!?! F*&K you buddy. I'd say I'm more mad because he failed to notice what I was subtlety trying to do. Forgive me for being appropriate.

It doesn't help that he completely freaked me out (possibly without knowing he had done such) and then expects me to recover quickly... I'm not a robot or heartless. If you want to be sensual and caress-y with me atleast snuggle me (damnit)!!!!

Dating has become a two laned road and everyone must be clear on what their intentions are. No matter how pretty certain words may appear, they are not a good substitute for the truth. We are constantly worried about the move that our selected partner is choosing to make so we can judge our next move. No one wants to be the weaker of the pair and admit defeat. We make relationships, or any type of "friendship", a power struggle and until one person admits weakness and/or defeat, they appear vulnerable. Which translates into "losing".

My example, I admitted that I should have stayed around and made another move when it was him who was appearing to be disinterested. I am not in a mood to power struggle.

I am in the mood to snuggle with my dog and ponder the idiocy that is the male species.

Gooooooood night!
